An initiative promoting engineering for social impact, IEEE IAS SBC MACE will facilitate community-driven projects in sustainability, clean energy, and rural electrification. Students will apply technical skills to address real-world challenges, fostering innovation, collaboration, and societal development through engineering solutions.
A prestigious initiative connecting IEEE IAS student members with global industry experts. Participants will receive mentorship on career growth, research, and industry trends, gaining valuable insights, networking opportunities, and professional guidance to enhance their technical and academic skills.
This contest challenges students to develop innovative industrial and power system solutions. It encourages creativity, technical excellence, and problem-solving in engineering, helping participants gain practical exposure while contributing to the advancement of sustainable and efficient power systems.
To be conducted as a part of 35 years of IEEE MACE SB Celebration in collaboration with IEEE PES SBC MACE. Participants will form teams of 2-4 members and receive hands-on training on building and assembling RC bots. Once their bots are built, teams will be required to pitch their design innovations before competing in a challenging obstacle course that tests the bots’ features.
This workshop will introduce students to smart motor control systems, focusing on energy efficiency, real-time monitoring, and fault detection in industrial applications. Participants will learn how to optimize motor performance using sensors, microcontrollers, and basic AI-based analytics.
