The Industry Applications Society, as a transnational organization, is interested in advancement of the theory and practice of electrical and electronic engineering in the development, design, manufacture and application of electrical systems, apparatus, devices and controls to the processes and equipment of industry and commerce; promotion of safe, reliable and economic installations; industry leadership in energy conservation and environmental, health, and safety issues; creation of voluntary engineering standards and recommended practices; and the professional development of its membership.

Distinguished Lecturers Program(DLP)
IEEE IAS SBC MACE, in collaboration with AJCE, RIT, Rajagiri, and College of Engineering Chengannur, is organizing a Distinguished Lecturer Program in the month of August. The event will be on August 7th in our college.
About the Distinguished Lecturer
Prof. Rajesh Kumar is a prominent professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and a Fellow of IET (UK) and IE (I). His research focuses on intelligent systems, data-driven algorithms, and smart grids. With 16 patents and over 600 research articles to his name, Prof. Kumar has made substantial contributions to his field. He has supervised 25 Ph.D. theses and received the Career Award for Young Teachers in 2002.
ACHIEVEMENTS
IEEE IAS SBC MACE participated in La Guerre 2.0, a cluster initiative with IEEE IAS SBC AJCE, organizing three key events that combined technical learning, professional development, and engagement. The Rise of IIoT in Smart Industries, led by Mr. Ubaid Ishaq, Technical Manager at LTTS, provided insights into Industrial IoT, predictive maintenance, and data analytics, highlighting its impact on modern industries. IGNITE Membership Development Session, featuring Miss Sreepriya S and Miss Ann Mary Roy, focused on IEEE membership benefits, professional growth opportunities, and available resources, encouraging student participation in IEEE societies. TechTwist: Decode the Future, a crossword competition, tested participants’ knowledge of emerging industrial technologies like AI, IoT, and renewable energy, offering a fun and interactive learning experience. With these impactful events, IEEE IAS SBC MACE showcased technical excellence and teamwork, securing 3rd place in La Guerre 2.0 and reinforcing its commitment to student engagement and industry knowledge-sharing.
